You can also dial 112 anywhere in the European Community to contact the emergency service.

 CONTACTING YOUR GP

Your family doctor is now only responsible for providing care to you during normal working hours, that is Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm (excluding bank and public holidays).  If you need to urgently contact a doctor outside normal working hours you need  to call the following telephone number:

C.A.L.L. MENTAL HEALTH HELPLINE (Community Advice and Listening Line)

Tel: 0800 132 737 (Mon-Fri 10am-2pm & 7pm-11pm and Sat & Sun noon-midnight)

CALL offers emotional support and information/literature on mental health and related matters to the people of Wales.  All calls are free and confidential.  It has a comprehensive information database containing details of services and is able to offer information on groups local to the caller and also national contacts.  The helpline is for anyone who is coping with mental illness: this includes carers, relatives and friends.
