Free Turn2us Training Workshop

Working together to maximise income

Turn2us helps people in financial need, and those who support them, access the money available to them through welfare benefits, charitable grants and other financial help.

Everything you need in one place

Turn2us brings together an easy to use Benefits Checker and a Grants Search giving access to over 3,500 charitable funds – all available through our free, accessible website www.turn2us.org.uk. Turn2us is also supported by a freephone Helpline, offering the same services available via the website.

Turn2us is part of Elizabeth Finn Care, a charity that supports people living in poverty in the UK.

Free training in Powys and Mid Wales

Turn2us is inviting support workers and volunteers who work with people in financial need to attend a free training workshop. The workshop will enable participants to understand how to use the Turn2us tools and services with their clients, as well as giving an overview of the wider work of Turn2us and the charity Elizabeth Finn Care.

Activities will include:

Live interactive demonstrations of the Turn2us Benefits Checker and Grants Search

Introductions to the other resources available at www.turn2us.org.uk, including the My Turn2us account features which enable people to apply directly to grant-giving charities online
Opportunities for questions, answers and sharing of ideas throughout!

Time: 10 am to 2.30 pm (a light lunch will be provided)

Venue: Media Resource Centre, Llandrindod Wells, LD1 6AH

Workshop places are limited to one person per organisation and early registration is recommended to be sure of a place.
