All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network

Published On: Tuesday 17 March 2009

The All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the population of Wales by:

Ø       Increasing understanding of public mental health

Ø       Facilitating the exchange of learning

Ø       Sharing examples of practice and resources

Ø       Promoting ways of improving mental health and wellbeing

The All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network is currently developing an Initiatives Database which aims to share successful working practices and case studies with everyone working in mental health promotion and I am writing to invite you to sign up to this database.

Those who join and upload their stories will be able to gain ideas and inspiration from other mental health promotion professionals. It will also act as an important way to share lessons learnt from colleagues across Wales.

The database is aimed at everyone who contributes to public mental health, from doctors to teachers, social workers to nurses.

To join this exciting project and benefit from learning from others please contact Kelly Mason or go to the All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network Website and complete a short form.
