![]() PREVENTING BIPOLAR DISORDERWould you like to participate in our study?We are a group of researchers from the School of Psychology at Bangor University and we are investigating psychological factors that make people vulnerable to developing bipolar disorder. The aim of the study is to enhance our knowledge of mechanisms that lead to the development of bipolar disorder. Our ultimate goal is to find ways of preventing people from developing the illness. We are looking for adults who:
· Have a history of bipolar disorder · Have children aged 13-18 years and are happy for them to take part in the study · Are fluent in English and also for adults who:
· Do NOT have a history of psychiatric problems · Have children aged 13-18 years and are happy for them to take part in the study · Are fluent in English We will pay £20 to you and £30 to your child to compensate for your time.
