Job title: Participation and Involvement Facilitator

Remuneration: NJC Scale 21 £19,126

Hours: Full-time 35 hours

Annual Leave: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

Contract: Fixed term 1 year

Location: Powys-wide/flexible – main office and line manager in Brecon, but home working and hot desk options across Powys.

We are looking for someone to help us continue to develop mental health service user and carer involvement in the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of services across Powys. The post-holder will be supported in this work by the Powys Stronger in Partnership network and the work will develop under the Stronger in Partnership 2 guidance (2008), recommended by Welsh Assembly Government.

The successful applicant will have a commitment to developing service user and carer involvement and will understand the value of lived experience. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in mental health and has experience of mental health issues either through their work (paid or unpaid) or through there own personal experiences.

This is a Powys-wide post so the person we are looking for must have the ability to travel within Powys.
