County Mental Health Development Officer

Initial Contract to 31^st March 2010

Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations wishes to appoint a County Mental Health Development Officer to be based in Newtown.

We seek an enthusiastic individual, to manage and take overall responsibility for the operation and strategic management of Powys Agency for Mental Health, its staff and operations, working positively to ensure that the project is an integral part of PAVO’s service through the identification of the mental health needs of people in Powys and the development of initiatives to meet those needs.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of management within a health and social care setting, project development and be a confident public speaker.
