My Generation - for those over 50 in Mid Wales
My Generation is a free programme to help those of us over 50 to improve our wellbeing, together. We know that getting older has its challenges - for example leaving work, loneliness, money worries and bereavement - and these can all affect our wellbeing. That's where My Generation can help. You can attend up to eight group sessions where you'll find out about staying mentally well while enjoying activities such as Tai Chi, basic computer skills and spending time with others.
You'll also be able to find out about other projects in your area that could help you, and how you can help others.
Anyone over 50 living in the Mid Powys area can take part free of charge.
For more information on My Generation or to take part, contact 01597 824411 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
My Generation is a joint project between Mind Cymru and local Minds in Wales to help people over 50 to stay well by improving their resilience. It's funded by Welsh Government and delivered by your local Mind.
15 places available and the first course begins Friday 22 June 2018 at Trefonnen School 10am until 12pm.
