Mental Health First Aid (Adults) Training (2 days)

This programme has been supported and endorsed by the Assembly Government as part of its strategy for the promotion of good mental health and prevention of suicide.
As with the general concept of “First Aid” this programme is not intended for specialist mental health practitioners. Anyone in their everyday life may come across someone who needs immediate care while specialist care is sought or to assist the person in seeking out help for themselves.
- Improves mental health literacy
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of someone with mental health problems
- Respond, engage, support and signpost people to appropriate professional help
There is no charge to attend this course, however, a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
