Mental Health Summer Recovery Camp - 7th to 12th September 2017

Creating the experience of a recovery community for everyone

Now in it’s 3rd year, Working to Recovery are proud to present their Mental Health Summer Recovery Camp 2017. The Recovery Camp will give you an experience of a recovery community, so you can take this into you own life, work and practice. This year the Recovery Camp has been moved from June to September.  The venue will be Barnutopia, Llansilin, Oswestry SY10 9BS. This is the perfect venue, a small family-owned glamping site. The location is just out of the way, off the beaten track, but close enough (5 miles) to a good sized town for grocery shopping and other conveniences. The site has kune kune pigs, horses, cats and a dog. It is in a rural area among working farms, with sheep and other livestock in the fields.

As before, this is YOUR Recovery Camp. So if you:

  • Want to run a Workshop
  • Want to provide a Big Tent Discussion or suggest/recommend someone
  • Want to provide Art Sessions
  • Want to offer sessions in Yoga, Meditation, etc…
  • Want to offer taster sessions in Alternative Therapies
  • Have ideas of local bands to provide evening entertainment or play yourself
  • Want to have a stall to sell arts/crafts
  • Want to offer a particular skill to help run the Recovery Camp
  • Have other ideas for the Recovery Camp

Please get in touch with Ron Coleman by phone 01851 810789 or email ron(at)workingtorecovery.co.uk
