Ramble with a big Cheese!
Time: 10.00 am - 2.00 pm
Where: Gilfach Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre, St. Harmon, Rhayader, Powys LD6 5LF
Are there things you would like to say to people responsible for the mental health services in Powys?
Would you rather have a walk in the countryside an honest conversation than sit around in a stuffy meeting room with people in suits?
We are arranging a ‘Walk, Talk & Listen’ session with Senior people from Powys Teaching Health Board – the Big Cheeses! They want to hear what you think, what your experiences have been (or those of people you are close to). What went well, did you get the help and support you needed? What didn’t go well, what wasn’t in place?
The Big Cheese’s want to hear directly from you!
We especially want people from the farming community to come along. The views and experiences of people from the farming world in Powys are missing in mental health planning.
Do farmers and farming families have particular issues around mental health? Is it harder to say that things are difficult and seek help? What can we do to make it easier, to feel more in tune with what you need?
Come along to Gilfach on the 27th September 10.00 am. We will finish with lunch.
Spaces are limited, so please get in touch to book you place!
