Who we are
Macmillan Cancer Support and The Bracken Trust have worked together to develop the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre, Llandrindod Wells.
We offer people affected by cancer access to good quality, comprehensive and appropriate information and support.
This includes people who:
-Require information about cancer
-Have a cancer diagnosis
-Have survived cancer
-Are a carer or relative of someone affected by cancer
-Are a healthcare professional

How we can help
We offer support and information to anyone who has cancer, their relatives, friends and carers, and anyone who has concerns about cancer.
We provide access to:
-Support from specialist staff
-A range of information leaflets and booklets tailored to the individual needs
-Basic financial advice and information on benefits
-Information on local service and organisations
-Referrals to statutory organisations such as the other Macmillan Welfare Rights or to the Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care Social Worker

We also signpost people to self-help and support groups and liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies.
Some of our resources are available in Welsh and some are suitable for children and people with special needs.

How to contact us
This service is open to anyone within Powys, and referrals can be made by any Health or Social care Professional.
