Personality Disorders virtual training session

Course Aim: 

A person with a personality disorder thinks, feels, behaves or relates to others very differently from the average person. Just as there are many types of personality there are many types of personality disorder. The aim of this course is explain about personality disorders in general, and exploring the 10 recognised types of personality disorder. The course will be delivered in a fun and informative manner designed to provide knowledge and improve practice. We believe that our training should be the enabling factor to empower delegates to gain knowledge, develop new skills and competencies and have confidence to put these into practice in the workplace. 

Course Objectives:

  • 10 Types of personality disorder 
  • Causes 
  • Symptoms 
  • Why is personality disorder controversial 
  • Treatment 
    • talking treatment 
    • medication 
  • Self care 
  • Supporting people with personality disorder 

Course Duration:  9.30am - 4.00pm with breaks

(note: Registration opens at 9.00am for a 9.30am prompt start)

Course Delivery: online via Zoom
