Dear colleagues,

The Powys Regional Partnership Board (PRPB) is working with Social Care Wales to support the upcoming Research to Reality Roadshow on Co-production, which will take place in November 2026.

As many of you will know, co-production is a central requirement of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act. At its heart, co-production is about listening to people, understanding what matters to them, and working together to shape services, support, and outcomes.

Social Care Wales is supporting all regions across Wales to strengthen co-production and, as part of this work, is bringing together partnerships from Mid and South West Wales to share learning and showcase effective practice.

To help inform this event, we are looking for examples of successful co-production initiatives from across the region. We would be grateful if colleagues from health, social care, education, housing, supported employment, the third sector, community organisations and other public services could take some time to reflect on examples where you have worked alongside people and carers to design, develop, improve or deliver services and support.

Please complete the attached template, outlining your example(s) of good practice, and return it to Lowri Shepstone at lowri.shepstone@powys.gov.uk by Friday 2 October 2026.
