Rekindle
Rekindle is the only charity in Mid Wales solely focused on preventative and early intervention mental health support for 16–25-year-olds. We aim to transform the lives of young adults, many of whom have been failed by existing services, by providing tailored, person-centred and holistic support to those who are, or at risk of, experiencing poor mental health. We empower young people to take control of their lives, build resilience, set goals, and feel part of their community. Our free, wrap-around, collaborative support includes 1:1 counselling, 1:1 wellbeing support (practical help with housing, employment, finances, etc), instant-access drop-ins, and group activities.

Brecknockshire
Brecon and District Mind
Brecon and District Mind provides counselling, wellbeing and peer support services across South Powys. Our Wellbeing Centre is open Monday–Friday, 1pm–4pm, offering peer support and a welcoming space, with weekly outreach in Hay-on-Wye, Talgarth and Crickhowell. We also run creative wellbeing groups, including Green Minds, Art in Mind, Welsh for Wellbeing and Poetry in Mind. Counselling is available via self-referral or professional referral, including through the Powys In-Work Support Service. Wellbeing Walk-In sessions run at set times each week for informal chats with trained Wellbeing Practitioners.

This Advocacy Service in Powys provides a free, confidential and independent advocacy service for people with mental health difficulties. It will help you to make sure that your voice is heard in whatever context is appropriate for you, offering support at informal or formal meetings, hearings, assessments, and reviews. Advocates are also trained as Independent Mental Capacity Advocates (IMCAs) to support people who lack the capacity to make certain decisions, according to the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
