Living Works ‘Start’ module

 NHSPI Suicide Self Harm Prevention (NHS Wales Performance and Improvement)  are currently offering people working in suicide and self-harm across sectors FREE access to a new 90-minute e-learning module that develops skills in relation to a suicide intervention

This e-module comes from LivingWorks, originating from Canada, who provides the evidence-based training programmes such as ASIST (2 days) and SafeTALK (4 hours). The e-module can be completed online and can be revisited to complete over any number of sessions.  Successful completion of the module will generate a certificate.  The scenarios are adult-based, but the principles of conducting a suicide intervention are transferable

As part of this limited offer, we are seeking to engage with workers across Wales to establish a better understanding of people’s learning and development needs in relation to suicide and self-harm and we would welcome feedback on the module
