Community Sector Network: Workshops

Building Communities Trust need your help to gather thoughts from the sector on two key topics:

1 How do communities work with Government?
Public sector bodies are talking more and more about building stronger communities and working with communities. What does this mean for you and your organisation? What are they getting right and what are they getting wrong?
Welsh Government have recognised that they have a gap in their policies for working with communities and this is your chance to have your say.

2 How might we use a Community Wealth Fund in Wales?
After years of funding cuts, there’s a different kind of funding opportunity on the horizon. The possibility of another wave of dormant financial assets (this time stocks and shares) being used to support ‘good causes’ is now being actively discussed through the creation of a Community Wealth Fund. Have your say about how this could work in Wales to ensure local communities can get the most from this opportunity.

Mae angen eich help ar Ymddiriedolaeth Adeiladu Cymunedau (BCT) i gasglu barn y sector am ddau bwnc allweddol:

1 Sut mae cymunedau’n gweithio gyda’r Llywodraeth?
Mae cyrff y sector cyhoeddus yn siarad mwy a mwy ynglŷn ag adeiladu cymunedau cryfach a gweithio gyda chymunedau. Beth mae hyn yn ei olygu i chi a’ch sefydliad? Beth maen nhw’n ei wneud yn iawn a beth maen nhw’n ei wneud yn anghywir?
Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cydnabod bod ganddyn nhw fwlch yn eu polisïau ar gyfer gweithio gyda chymunedau a dyma eich cyfle chi i ddweud eich dweud.

2 Sut gallwn ni ddefnyddio Cronfa Cyfoeth Cymunedol yng Nghymru?
Ar ôl blynyddoedd o doriadau cyllid, mae math gwahanol o gyfle cyllido ar y gorwel. Mae’r posibilrwydd o ddefnyddio ton arall o asedau ariannol segur (stociau a chyfranddaliadau y tro hwn) i gefnogi ‘achosion da’ yn cael ei drafod nawr drwy greu Cronfa Cyfoeth Cymunedol. Dyma gyfle i chi ddweud eich dweud am sut gallai hyn weithio yng Nghymru i sicrhau bod cymunedau lleol yn gallu manteisio i’r eithaf ar y cyfle hwn.
