The Mid and South West Wales Community Cohesion Team are pleased to invite you to a free in-person event facilitated by the excellent Shout Out UK (SOUK) – Shout Out UK – The home of political literacy and youth voice, the session is aimed at professionals working with young people and those with an interest in finding out more about how the growing problem of toxic masculinity fuels extremism.
The session will discuss widespread and emerging areas of extremism, gender narratives including the Incel movement and the manosphere, how technology is playing a significant part in the radicalisation of young people and what we can do to protect the communities we live and work within.
There are two sessions to chose from covering the region:
Tuesday 3rd February – 13:00-15:00: Hope Church, Dolfor Road, Newtown, SY16 1JD
Tuesday 10th February – 13:00-15:00: Ivy Bush Hotel, 11 Spilman Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1LG
